THE RED BALLOON
A friend rescued this gem from a library's discard pile. The black and white stills from Albert Lamorisse's film are beautiful, but the condition of this book was not. I strongly encouraged her to allow me to perform a rebind.
A new case, bright red endpapers, and an embroidered detail on the back gives this book a new lease on life.
